February

F. 1st. Father and me getting turnips into the root house.

S. 2nd. Five bushls. of potatoes to G. Roppel at fifty cents per bushl. = $2.50. Also two baskets of turnips 30 cts. total $2.80. he paid me two Dolrs. which leaves 80 cts yet due me. Two baskets of turnips to James George 30 cts. to my credit. Four hoops on Marys soap barrel by Mr Johnson 15 c. Our Amy cow calved; a cow calf. Gave Robert two Dolrs.

M. 4th. Hauling wood and preparing to kill pigs. In the afternoon getting out sleigh runners.

T. 5th. Killing pigs, six of them, Mr. Goble butchering.

W. 6th. Sold Mr J. Traflet Ten Bushls. of potatoes @ 50 c. per B. = $5.00. Paid. Cutting up Pork. Hauled a sleigh crook to Mr. Gobles etc.

Th. 7th. Putting away pork etc. Father half day helping Uncle Iden to clean up peas this is a set off against his work mending boots for us this winter.

F. 8th. Chopping wood. Robert picking potatoes.

S. 9th. Hauled of acord of 5 foot wood to Guire. this is the second cord I have delivered to him as per agreement $1.50 per cord. Mrs. Guire paid me in full.

M. 11th. Sawing sleigh runners at Mr J. Gobles. Mr G. helping half day. Chopping in the afternoon.

T. 12th. Chopping all day.

W. 13th. Wet. Chors.

Th. 14th. Chopping.

F. 15th. Setting water off etc.

S. 16th. Do Chopping, Beauty a bull calf.

M. 18th. Diging drain through the snow.

T. 19th. Do

W. 20th. Chopping, Fred helping.

Th. 21st. Chopping, Fred helping.

F. 22nd. Chopping Fred in afternoon helping to saw.

S. 23rd. Chopping Fred to. Paid Amos Stafford for half soaking?
