F. 21st. Hauling rail logs and stumps. Plowing Gore. Father loging at Craigs.

S. 22nd. Plowing. Father & Robert hoeing potatoes.

M. 24th. Plowing. Vaters cow to Bull.

T. 25th. Plowing, draging.

W. 26th. Making fence and a gate at the Gore. Father & Fred at Stuart & Haydens Bee at Hugoes.

Th. 27th. Draging, went to Port Elgin bought of John Kennedy One Bushl. and 10 lbs of potatoes for Robert and paid 75 cts. for them. Mending chain at Macintoshes etc. Ordered J. Kennedy to make me a square drag. making fence, C F S's two cows to Bull. 1 dozn Fish of Iden. Planting potatoes Father & Rob.

F. 28th. Draging, Father , Rob. & Fred planting potatoes for Salter this afternoon draging for me in the fallow.

S. 29th. Working in the road. Father covering potatoes, Salter all day draging his horses. Father finished covering and planting potatoes.
