18th Windy Leander crofsed over to Hamilton for the Mail Got a Letter From D McM with 5 in it for Minnie Gave it to her had over the B Boat

19th Pealing apples Raining all Day Mrs Oxley Departed

20th Fine Fixed a Fence around the stack in the upper Field Leander Went to Malone Fair Stanley and I went to Fish at the Kit Kit Island caught 22 Perch a Great many Fishing Lights out to night

21st Last Day of Summer Fine E Wind Drew some Wood put out 2 Loads of Manure Found a Barrel Floating Down Lewis Marcell went of to Day paid up all he owed and Bought Bought 5 lbs of Butter

22nd First Day of Fall or Autumn Fine some Drops of Rain sun crofsed the Line Equinoxical Gales now Digging at an oak crook Leander and Charlie Creamer came from the Fair at Malone St Matthews Day

23rd Sept 1892 Fine Windy Thunder and Lightning Rained Heard the Corinthian was Burnt

24th Fine Leander for the Mail sent a Letter to D McM Montreal Digging at a Large stone at the Oak Tree Charlie and Stanley Fishing Perch got 38 some Drops of Rain Triming the Buds of the Tobacco Mr Genie came Fishing to night him and Leander Got 5 sturgeon 11 EEls and some suckers Brought me 2 Bags of Apples

25th Fine Leander Charlie Creamer and Minnie went to Dundee Mr Genie went off 2 Tugs towing up Lumber Barges Hugh Ann and Livinia went over to Lewis the Indians Place Got salt From Narcisse for Genie to salt his Fish Rained Thunder and Lightning to night and Windy

26th Windy Raining cool Pealing and stringing apples Rained to night Narcisse to 5 lb of Butter on credit

27th Fine cool very Windy Stanley and I around the Island smoking Fish put up another Quilt this is 3 now cutting stovewood Leander and Minnie came Randolph sent me 4 Papers

28th Fine Killed one of the spring calves 3 Months old at the Potatoes put 14 Bushels in for the first in the cellar
