Octo 1 Went to Fairfax to the sacrament the Revd Mr Gordon officiated we went from it to the funeral of A Mc{illegible} he was buired at the {illegible} church the Revd Mr Smart preached there was a very large funeral
2 Geordy helped A Cornet at the thrashing machin I began to dig the potatos
3 Geordy went to help Wm J Turner thrash {illegible} to day I ug some potatos
4 I helped James McMullin to thrash Geordy has a sore finger he can do nothing
5 went to Gananoque to the Fair acted as a Judge on sheep hogs & pultry fine day
6 dug some potatos very dry time
7 Do Do Do J. Stacie came & left his machin
8 no Meeting here Geordy & the girles went to the Ebenezer at night heard the Revd Mr Garrie
9 thrashed our grain had 23 bushel of peas 45 of wheat 12 of barley 152 of oats A Cornet Wm Cornet J McMullin Wm J. Turner Thomas Bradley Humphrey Young Capland healped
10 cleaned up the floor & put in part of the straw in the forenoon Geordy drew 120 bushel of sand for H McKay in the afternoon& little rain at night
11 put in the remainder of the straw & drew in the cornstalks mixed straw with stalks
12 heavy rain all night & this morning a fine day for our fair afterwards atended it took the first on the yearling bull 2nd on 2 Ewes
13 dug some of the potatos fine day
14 Geordy went to Gananoque with 10 bushel of wheat Ellen & Isabla went with him intending to go Mr Starky & get our yarn he was to bring it from Kingston they brought home the yarn
15 the Revd Mr Robertson preached in the evening
16 diged some of the potates Geordy had took a notion to go to Red River he is going round amongst the neabours Mr Rose the salportune here all night
