Jan 1 Ad took the Buggy to the funeral of Mrs Heally he took Mr Heally Kathron & Bartholmew she was buired in Gananoque the snow is nearly all gone
2 David went away on the Express for Ottawa this afternoon I went to Escott to the tanyard took one cow hide & 5 sheep pelts got 1 calf skin to get to mine next week
3 drew some wood from Charles Armstrongs
4 Ad went to Gananoque with 10 bushel of wheat to the Mill the slaughing is poor
5 drew a little wood from Armstrongs
6 Ad & Billie drew in the stack of hay put part off it in stable loft the rest in the barn it was well saved
7 the Revd Mr Robertson Cochran preached in the morning a the Revd Mr Robertson in the evening
8 Ad & Ellen went to Brockville & brought things for the house I tended the cattle
9 got wood fine cold day
10 Isabela & P.S. Hicock was married by the Revd Wm Smart John & Adam Armstrong a there Wifes Wat & Lizie & David Rob & Mary Wm John Hazelwood James Sorrae Mary & Nancy N Stevens Wife Ida Hicock Miss F. Dean & Wife & Jennie Coulhoun were here at the weding Isabla Vest & David went away on the Express to night
11 very little done to day Isabla & V came home tonight
12 Ad & all the young folks went to Delta there is to be a partie at Mr Hicocks
13 I went to the Agriculture Anual meeting was put in President again had a fine meeting
14 the Revd Mr Francis preached in the morning & evening the roads is very icey
15 Ad choped some wood in Armstrongs
16 I went to Brockville for to see A S{illegible} our school site it is all right to them was no {illegible} put in against it therefore it cannot be allowed now
