Nov 1 got home from Kingston this afternoon sopt all night at Wm Jacks got the yarn all right got 300 of flour X 3 100 of cornmeal & Rye X 2 flour in all $12.60
2 toped the carrots & put them into pit fine day
3 the Revd Mr Robinson preached in the evening
4 drew in the corn stalks they are in very good order considering so much wet weather
5 mended 3 pair of boots & shoes fine day
6 huwed two sticks for the cow stable put them in got the stones leveled ready for the gravel
Butter is 90 cents 7 drew 6 loads of gravel to the stable & 2 loads of sand for P Moor 40 bushel 40 c time 50 c
8 drew 7 loads of gravel to the stable fine day
9 rided 6 bushel of peas for seed put them in two barles got some wood & other chores the Revd Mr Green held his annual Bible meeting in the schoolhouse stoped with us all night
10 I took him Escot this morning took dinner at Mr Parrs the Revd Mr Robinson preached in the school house this morning
11 drew 6 loads of gravel to the stable fine day
rain 12 worked in the stable grouting part of the East end heavy rain all day everything in a swim
13 work in the stable got 8 bushel of lime from H Pankhurst I finished grouting the east end & boarded part of the side next to the stable
rain 14 worked at the stable grouted the side next the stable & part of the end & that is all the grout I have rain most of the day
15 worked at the Bail logs & got them in to the stable & bored part of them very cold wind all day
first snow 16 worked at the bail logs Humphrey Young helped me began to snow in the night snowed & stormed most of the day this is the first snow this fall
17 no meeting this morning Mr Taplin preached at night
18 worked at the Bails Ellen helped at night the in the afternoon we got the Bails fixed so that we got the cows in to night stormed all day
