March march has come in like a lion cold & very stormy snow 1 Ad drew a load of wood from the 6 consession it stormed so bad in the aftenoon he did not go back snow & wind
2 Ad drew 2 loads of wood from the 6 conc fine day
3 Do Do 1 load Adam Clark & three of sisters John Giles & his Wife all from Smith Falls came here on a visit Mary Beatty came with them from Young
4 they all went to Younge this afternoon David took an observation for Charles Armstrong this evening
5 Ad went with David this morning to help Charley to run the line cold fine day
6 Ad went with David to helpt to finishe the lines I went to Delta to an Agriculture meeting snowed about 4 inches last night took one of our horses to John Cook left it there & went with him took dinner at Davids there was a good meeting authorized more building to be put up
7 Revd Mr Gordon preached this morning he came here last night Mr Dousley Father is dead Mr Cuningham preached at night
8 Ad went to the 6 con for a load of wood fine day

10 received a letter this morning that David Robb is dead he on the 23th Febuary Snowing this morning we cleaned up 5 1/2 bushels of the china wheat all we had & 62 of oats or rather 31 bags & loaded it on the slaugh
11 Ad went to Gananoque to the mill with 31 bags of oats & 5 12 bushels of china wheat fine day I went to the station met the Revd Mr Ireland he is to Lecture to night in the church he stopt here all night
rain in the night 12 Mr Ireland went back to Brockville this morning on the Mixed Ad drew saw dust to McNiels to cover ice in the forenoon he went to Delta in the afternoon his Wife Ellen Jennet Polles & Wm Scott went with him
13 Ellen is very bad with a pain in her back fine day Ad & his load got home about 10 oclock this evening
14 the Revd Mr Cuningham preached this morning & Mr Dousley at night
15 rain most of last night with ice this morning Ad went to Gananoque with a load of oats for feed for Wallace McNiel
16 Ad went to Gananoque with a load of oats for Bruce McNiel feed they went in the Buggy {illegible} warm day to snow is going very fast
