April. 1924

22nd Tue. Cloudy. cold. Alex & Harold tore ceiling in A.M. & Alex went to Napanee in afternoon for Beaver board. I ironed Elizabeth over to Morrows.

23rd Wed. Fine. Father, Ralph & Alex putting ceiling on in front room.

24th Thur. Fine. Men finished ceiling in A.M. Alex painted it after dinner.

25th Fri. Fine. Alex went to Conway to mill.

26th Sat. Fine. Alex & Elizabeth put in some garden. Elizabeth had her hair washed. Alex washed buggy. Over to Sills in Eve.

27th Sun. Grand. All to church in A.M. Mrs Young called for us. Up the road in afternoon for a drive. Father & Mabel down in Eve.

28th Mon. Beautiful. Alex started on the land. I washed a few things. Elizabeth to school.

29th Tue. Fine. Alex on the land. I cleaned the wood-house.

Transcription Tips

  • Note: If a line on one page appears to carry over on the same line on the next page, please check the next page and (if applicable) transcribe both pages together as if they are one page. Type your unified transcription under the first of the two pages.
