25th St Crispin all Shoemakers Day My Birth Day 1825 70 years old to Day at 4 o clock Burning Brush in the West Oak Field Plastering the stable Plo Found the axe we Lost a year ago

26th Fine Froze some Last night Found 1 of the Hammers Finished Ploughing the Potato Ground a Good Lot of shooting to Day Boiling Feed for the Pigs Burning Brush at the Ditch

27th Unfortunate Day E Wind Mr Genie came Gordon crofsed to church Windy to night West wind Heard Locklin Cattonach was Buried yesterday

31st Holy Eve all Hallows HallowEEn the night of the Fairies Fine E Wind Turned to South West John H went to Dundee with 1/2 Barrel of Sturgeon Trimmed an oak sent the yard 3 lb
