Sun Sept 16 cloudy Some mists of rain a fine rainlast night. Gerorge and Kate was out to day.

Mon Sept 17 th flying clouds and moderate. I was digging potatoes. they are the best we have had for many years. Walter harrowed and drilled the little field with wheat North of the house.

Tue Sept 18 th cloudy part of the day and pleasant. I was Sowing timoly seed and cleaning out water furrowes and finished cutting up corn. Walter was harrowing.

Wed Sept 19 th clear most of the day and warm. was cleaning up wheat in the fore noon after noon took it to Thamesville Sold it to jame Mayhew for one dollar per bushel

Thu Sept 20 th clear and warm. I was digging pota-toes in the fore noon. after noon husking corn. Walter away in the fore noon.

Fri Sept 21 st clear and warm. I was spreading manure. Walter was plowing.

Sat Sept 22 nd heavey fog most of the fore noon. after noon clear and hot. I was spreading ma--nure part of the day part digging pota-toes Walter was plowing finished the fall wheat ground,

Sun Sept 23 rd clear and hot,

Mon Sept 24 th clear and hot in the middle of the day. Charley went to Thamesville wa with a load of wheat this fore noon. after noon I was breaking clods and and Walter was harrowing the wheat ground. we commend drilling after tea

Tue Sept 25 th cloudy and pleasant. we finished Sowing our wheat to day. which Should have been Sown ten days ago. the ground is very dry yet. it looks a little like rain to night.
