27th of May 1900 a very fine day turned cloudy East Winds set 2 lines caught the first perch thunder lightning far off began to use the Tar Barrel for feed

28th very fine day Eclipse visible sowed the New Aats 2 bushel sowed 4 bushel of Our Own oats ploughing harrowing ditching draining working at the Garden East Wind cool new moon today wrote a letter to Dan concerning John Cameron but did not send it off a tug with a raft aground below the lighthouse put the Seperator in The Granery first corn up what was planted first

29th Royal Oak day or Oak Apple day fine East Wind planted potatoes over at the maple trees in Hills harrowing the potatoes and corn began to put in the north west Frame Window took up the boat to dry Fernandez crofsed with the letter got 3 EEls 3 suckers

30th of May 1900 fine Leander went to sow Renshaw oats Stanley taken away stones from around the house East Wind changed to West Mr Hugh Frasher here for sand Ionia and I took a load of wood from the bay Nighthawks came

31st fine working at the building taking these odd kind of stones and Crockery and Bones Down To The River Rain some showers last night rain and thunder this evening and Indian passed up close to shore putting in the glass and clabording heavy rain thunder

1st of June the Glorious first of June Vickey's Birth Day 1878 a fine day East Wind Ionia and I went to fish got 10 3 Indians passed in a boat looking for Peter Squire salted the cattle Caspian went Down went to fish got 3 rained heavy all night
