28th Andy & I erected Johnson & Saulter monuments in Gan. Cemetery & loaded McKinley job in eve has been a nice day quite warm got $2 from Andy gave it to Billy we put Die & Bottom base on Buckeys waggon and Granite base on Jim's has been a nice day
29th Andy and I got around early got ready to start about six went as far a Johnny Bells turned back it started to rain at six rained alday Mr. Jas. White paid his note $22 I paid Andy his $2 Mr Brittons $4.43 gave John L. $10 got a pair of working pants $1 an umbrella $1 at C.Taylor I sharpened some tools to day left about five with McKinley base left it a Baptist cemetry got home before ten it rained all day & alnight Jim went down for another to-day Andy came out to Aunt Ann's this eve with M. Kenny I got a ring for watch 25 cts.

30th stayed at home untill near four Sarah & Billy were out I went over got Franks Buggy it rained alday & alnight R. paid me in full $1 & gave me $1 to get some hair medicine came home this eve Mother & Jim had not got back
31st I came to Town got in about ten has been a cloudy day rained some Mrs Mcdonald Jas. Boucher & I went out to cemetery in eve Mr Salter came back with us
Aug 1st I loaded Berrys posts on waggon left them at Olivet came on to Baptist got there about ten C. McKinley & I put in a cement foundation for there mon. had dinner at Mrs Lillies Jack Bishop brought mon. out with Buckeys team got there about two he had his supper at Mrs Lillies I gave her $1 Mrs McKinley paid me in full $140 I came on to Nortons telep. to Will Martin 25 cts back to Aunt Anns stayed alnight stoped a while in eve
