Mon Sept 19: Fine and bright. Cleaned our bedroom. Sitting room. spare room.
Tue Sept 20: Cool east wind. Cleaned back kitchen and all kitchen cupboards. and auntie did a little washing & ironing for cleaning. I was up at the decorating in the afternoon. Lizzie and Margaret here for tea.
Wed Sept 21: Warm. S. and shifting to S.W. wind so prospects for rather showery in afternoon. Cleaned silver. a mild fall. We went to Thanksgiving and Reopening Service. Bishop Sweeny preached. Collection $367.00
Thur Sept 22: Fine and quite warm. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto. I went to Dr Campbell.
Fri Sept 23: Fine and warm. Mr Youngman here patching ceiling. Hall. Auntie washed Parlor Curtains. Cleaned windows down stairs. Annie and Lizzie here in the evening.
Sat Sept 24: Fine and warm. Annie, Lizzie and family called also Kylie. Dr and Mrs Adams. Aunt Mattie at Mr McD. in the evening to see about paying for Plot. I went to order my hat at Miss Barkers.
Sun Sept 25: A heavy rain early in morning but did not last long enough. cleared and cool. I went to Thanksgiving service in morning. Aunt M. Mrs Davidson and Willies at evening church.
Mon Sept 26: Fine and warm. we washed and ironed. Mr Youngman sizing ceiling of hall. Lizzie and children called. Mary Watson called.
