{Written above at the top} Good Friday.
Fri Apr 14. Fine bright but cool. I went to morning church. Aunt Mattie called to ask for Mick Kelly who is poorly, and to see {Bridie?}. Annie and I for a walk. Aunt Mattie & I called at Wiltshire in eve. Mr Simpson and Miss Mundy here in the evening
Sat Apr. 15. A heavy rain last night. Cold and windy. too cold for working out. Mr John Scott died at 11•30.
Sun Apr. 16. Beautiful bright day. Aunt Mattie and I at morning Easter service. Mr Davidson. Auntie and I at eve service. Willie and Charlie out in the morning. We called to see Mr Scotts remains in the evening.
Mon Apr. 17. Raining heavily all morning then cleared and warmer.
Tue Apr. 18. Fair with cold wind but bright. we cleaned Parlor Dining room, and back dining room. now nearly done cleaning all but outsides of windows. down {stairs?}
Wed Apr. 19. Fine and milder, we raked yard. then in the evening it came a thunder storm with snow and sleet.
Thurs Apr. 20 A very cold north west wind with {illegible} of snow frozen in the shade.
Fri Apr. 21. Fine and very cold windy day. with frost. Auntie and I called at Welsh's in the afternoon. Annie here in the evening.
