Jan 1st I got up at half past four fed horses Mr. G. came and with me we stoped at Moultons had a lunch came on to Rob G. John had dinner there we erected fathers monument I took Ross colt went out to Hugh Glovers got $115 order had lunch on to W.T Leggetts fed horse left about eight for Ross stoped at Andy's paid him in full $743 & lent him $51 changed horses at Ross came on home got in about two was a nice day but it thawed to-night and rained a little I gave Mary $400
2nd slept till about eleven went to Sunday school 5 cts to church in eve 30 cts for last sunday & this
