Reed a valentine card from {Elva?} this Eve. Laura was here 6 p.m. till 7.m.

Feb. 16. - Fri. - finished ironing & did the upstairs work. Mrs. Jns Walker was here a while this p.m. Warm & hazy, beautiful weather. i went down to Ms. {Geoidie?} Landon's this Eve. We played {illegible} & practised {illegible} for Sun & had tea. Had a nice Evening. Henry event to a party at Mr. Jns {illegible} there also was a party at Dwight & May Bennett's {illegible} this Eve.

Feb. 17. - Sat. - papa went to B. this a.m. {illegible} Charlie & Ethel came out
