Biography:
A moose shot in the street! This is cottage country in the Near North. During the early years “Minnie” and George encounter hard times and temporarily move to Grey County only to return again to their beloved Port Sydney. George sells fire insurance, sewing machines and Massey Harris equipment and tries a variety of other jobs. Minnie tends to the children, plays music at the church and belongs to the Women’s Institute. In 1903, they open a store. Share Minnie’s joys and sorrows as her daughters grow up.
