Sat Jan 1. New Years Day. we had the gathering. fine and mild. a little foggy and the Snow going in the afternoon. going

Sun Jan 2. Fine and moderately cold. Uncle, Aunt Mattie and I at Church.

Mon Jan 3. Fine in the morning then turned cold and blustery in the afternoon. Election Day. Uncle did not go out. I called at Mrs Clarkes.

Tue Jan 4. Fine but extremely cold. 7 below zero. Willies are thrashing.

Wed Jan 5. Rained and Sleeted all very slippery. Willie could not thrash. We took our hens to barn.

Thur Jan 6. Fine day moderately cold. good Sleighing. Aunt Mattie and I walked out to W.A. and called at Mrs Henry's. The machine came at night bad coming up the lane.

Fri Jan 7. Fine and mild. We thrashed and cut feed, got through about 4.30

Sat Jan 8. Fine but cold. Uncle at Mr Wm Cross' funeral then took me to the Rink in the evening.

Sun Jan 9. Fine day. Uncle, Aunt Nellie and I at church.

Mon Jan 10. Fine but cold and frosty we washed and churned. Annie Cooper walked out in the morning.

Tue Jan 11. Fine day and moderately cold. Mr and Mrs Breakey Mr and Mrs Gibson and Ida Clark here.

Wed Jan 12. Fine bright day. splendid Sleighing. Uncle and Aunt Mattie at Thornhill with Butter, Aunt Nellie called at Mr. Whites. Uncle took me to Carnival.

Thur Jan 13. Fine but colder. East wind. Uncle in Toronto, Aunt Nellie at an extra W.A. Meeting. she had dinner and tea at Mothers.

Fri Jan 14. Storming all day, from East, Uncle and Aunt Nellie at Mr. Clarke's to tea, our lane pretty full, but able to get through.

Sat Jan 15. Fine bright day, Uncle in Toronto, I walked to Rink and Uncle brought me home.
