Oct. 1 - thurs Practiced this pm.
Oct. 2. - Fri.- moved in our cook-stove & swept upstairs.
Oct. 3 - Sat.- Went to B-& {illegible} Vera a lesson. also Annie went with us. Henry & papa went to B. tonight
Oct. 4.-Sun. - Edna & Gladys & I walked to Presbyterian church this morning & I was at {illegible} for dinner. S.S. this pm. Also the "troop family" here for for tea. serice 1:30 Eve.
Oct. 5.- Mon. - washed & cleaned the shed. practiced this Eve.
Oct. 6. - Tues. - Gladys & I walked {illegible} for a lesson. Mrs. H. Lockwood was here this p.m.
Oct. 4. - Wed.- Monument unveiled this pm. in Read's Cemetery to the memory of Wr. {illegible} m. Philips. a large crowd present. We wnt also. Beautiful Day.
Oct. 8 - thurs. - {illegible}, Mama was at Mrs. Wright's today. Choir practice this Eve.
Oct.9. - fri. - very busy.
Oct. 10.- Sat. - went to B- this a.m. & gave Vera a lesson. arrived home 12.30 p.m. went to the church 3 p.m. & helped decorate for "thanksgiving service.
Oct. 11. - Sun. - S.S. Rally 2.p.m Rev Mr. Boyd spoke in connection with it. went to St. George's thanksgiving service 4 {illegible}.
Oct. 12. - Mon. - "Beautiful day" "thanksgiving" Elsie & Annie & children drove up this morning & spent the day. Mrs. N. Donnelly (Mrs. J. Datlon's sister) died 4 a.m.
Oct. 13. - Tues. - Mrs. {illegible}. Read & I helped (Rev.) Mr. Boyd load his "market-buggy" this a.m. & swept the church. Henry & I met Mr. R. Bishop 1.38 p.m. at M-. Henry, mama Mrs. Bishop & I drove up to Mr. & Mrs. Bovaird's to attend their 5th anniversary (wooden wedding) Had a very good time.
Oct.14. - Wed. - Mr. Wiel Bisell & Jean were here for dinner. Papa. Mr. Bishop & I went to Mrs. Donnelly's funeral 2.30 p.m. at Bowas Rouse. Mrs. Bishop remained in B-.
Oct.15. Thurs.- Mr. S. Sargent in helping papa & Henry cement. practiced at Annie's this p.m.
Oct. 16. - fri. - papa went to B - 10.30 a.m. practised at Mr Dalton's
Oct. 17 - Sat. - Our factory stopped to-day.
Oct. 18. - Sun. - S.S. this p.m. Annie & {illegible} & Howard were here for tea. Mrs. Manley field came here 6.30 Even as manley tools {illegible} to B - no service on account of the rain.
Oct. 19. - Washed, practiced this p.m. & tools a lesson to-night.
