Dec.25 - Sal - "Christmas "
Stormy. vrainy. We opent the day very quietly alone.
annie's called 2 p.m. on their way to Elsien for tea
Dec.26 - Sun. - "Colder"
Mrs.Wright(or) stayed here this a.m. white mr. & mrs. wright went to church. Mr. Matchel & frank were here this a.m. {serellel Ere?} Stewart Cole spoke.
Nyne & children were down 6 {Ewe?} for a while & Maggie fields came here before church
Dec .27. - Mon. - papa went to B -this p.m & {J?} went up to Elsie's & saw their tree. St. John's night. {(maomis)?}
Dec. 28. - Tues. - Cleared up the tables at the hall this a.m. papa & mama went in to see Dr. Cornell this p.m. & got more medicine
yave Carrie ales on this p.m.
Dec. 29. - Wed. - Washed the dishes this p.m.
Dec. 30 - thur. - Henry & J went down to Lanon's to night for choir practise but no one came.
Dec. 31. - Fri - J wife cold charlil was here to-day.
January. 1916

Jan. 1.-Sat. - "New year's Day."
Mama & Henry went up to grandma's this p.m. Rec'd a letter from d.B.W. to-night.
Jan.2.-Sun.-S.S. & service
This p.m. John & mrs. Orr came down with Hyne & elsie as they are there for new year's. Read this Ewe.
Jan.3.-Mon.- Henry & J washed. papa went to maitland this a.m. then they went to wole & papa went to algonquin "Past trip." for whey.
Departed to-night. fast time. Mama recieved a lovely spool-rack from Mrs.B Leslie & Ruby to-day
Jan. 4. - Tues. -Ironed. papa went to B - this p.m. Rec'd card from Mahel t. wrote to L.B.W. & Mrs.Leslie.
Jan. 5. - Wed. - lroned.
Jan. 6. - thur. - Rec'd a letter from Laura
Jan. 7. - fri. - Churned & did upstairs & sat's work as we erped a few here to arrange for anniversary Dervices but it is very cold & so many sick. just Read's came. J went to bed & Ere with a head-ache + bad cold. so did not see them (fied. Mrs. Read. {florene & balp?})
Jan. 8 - Sat. - Have not been very well to-day.

Jan. 10. - Mon. - {thung?} better. stormy. Churned. Mr.Juo. Walker was here this p.m.
Jan. 11. - tues. - Cleared up to-night.
Jan. 12. - Wed. - Red Cross Social at J.W.Eastonio to-night. Just Henry went as it was a bad night & I am just recovering from grip

Jan. 15. - Sat. - Henry took me down to give Reggie a lesson this p.m.
Jan. 16. - Sun. - S.S. & {servia?} this p.m. annie's were here for tea & {Ese?}
Jan. 17.. Mon. - Washed. Mason's night
Jan. 18 - tues. - papa went to Town & hook the cupboard in to be made into a book-case. & {J taled?} at Elsie's lied he came back
Jan.19. - Wed. - Ironed.
Jan. 21. - fri. - Varnished the pipes rec'd a letter from uncle sam & did upstairs work.
Jan.22. - Sat. - Rainy a.m. papawent to B. this p.m. & Henry took me down to give Reggie a lesson Clear tonight & spring {bliss?}
Jan-23.- Sun.- Beautiful day. a litte cold. J.D. {bul?} no service at Bethel on account of anniversary Services
