21 Monday. Cloudy {sultry?} and very windy. Noah miller spent the forenoon with Walter. Ella did the washing. Vernom & Aubrey were plowing. A few little {?} and distant thunderstorms tonight.

22 Tuesday. Fine and cool. Aubrey was cultivating. Vernom & Ella cut the thistles and weeds in the lane this p.m. and {then?} planted the cabbage tonight.
