November, 1926
17 Wednesday. Fine cold day. We They filled in the ditch behind the barn today.
18 Thursday. Rained all day. Walter shipped hogs this morning. Charlie brought Ella & Pearl home tonight and stayed here for the night.
19 Friday. Cold & Windy. Walter & Charlie settled up today. Vernon took the pig Walter sold down to David Bauman's today. Walter went to Elmira with Charlie and came home with Vernon.
20 Saturday. Cold. Snowflurries. Vernon & Walter brought in 3 loads of wood this a.m. and Vernon brought in the rest this afternoon. Walter and Ella attended the funeral of his aunt Mrs. Agnes Ruppel at Elmira this afternoon.
