boys. They snow balling one another. Had tea. then F. & Joe went over to Mt McCarleys till 8. Gertie & Philus came he played on mouth organ & I on Jew harp then Gertie blew horn for boys & they hurried over. We played games & passed candies. Had magic music. Had puzzle & F. trying to sell tickets for concert It 11. when they went. I couldn't get a private word to Joe at all. Philus asked me to go to literary (after they went) over at Palermo.

Frid 1<u>st</u>.. March / 89. Lovely day. Philus called in P.M. then came along in evening & I went over to Palermo with him. Just in time to get a good seat behind Applyby crowd. Horace W. took a load of 20. Bumbys Joe, Woods, Lucy Matthew man & F. sat with Lucy, & Joe beside Miss Husband & Miss Wood. The programme pretty good. It closed at 10. Arthur & Dave there. Snowing a little when going home.

Frid 1<u>st</u>.. March / 89. Lovely day. Philus called in P.M. then came along in evening & I went over to Palermo with him. Just in time to get a good seat behind Applyby crowd. Snowing a little when going home. A big pig crossed in front of us going home. Had a great talk going home. It 12. when got home. He came to the conclusion that he would quit so left it at that.

Sat 2<u>nd</u>.. Just going to paint floor when Gertie & Philus called for me to go to choir to practise & I ran in S. bedroom & he ran after me so I changed dress & went. It at Mrs Springers. Had a lovely time got acquainted with Mr & Miss Gunby Mr Watson & Miss Laura & Emily Springer & Miss Wilson Croft. It 10.30 when got home Last sleigh ride of the season.
