September THURSDAY, 18

Cutting corn all day. Brock to town at night. Beautiful day.

FRIDAY, 19

Finished cutting corn early in forenoon then shocking the millet, finished it after dinner and fixing fence + gaps on other place. Mr. Sterling drove Clara and Joyce over. They come to Arthur with Mrs. & Mrs. Milson. Misty in morning. Quite a heavy shower after dinner and again about five.

Men trying to fix back windmill pump. Working at it all day. Mother + Clara to town in afternoon. Brock + I down at night. Fine and very hot.

Raining all day. Very heavy at times.
