11 Boys took Japan buckwheat to Whitford and had it thrashed. got about 2 bush. Got 14 bush from Whitford Jimie went off tonight for Sherbro. It has been a very fine day.
12 Saturday. very fine. Pa & Murdy fanning grain. To 1 lb tea at J.A.'s tick 65
13 Dull day, a large congregation Mifs McGillivray, played and sang in morning. Mifs McGregor in evening
14 The Fair began here this morning we sent oats barley buckwheat Mangolds beets carrots, red & white got of prizes 1st Mangolds 2d beets 2d barley 2d buckwheat. Bot 10 lbs beef 80
