10 Baked. Sowed onions beets & Mangolds J.C. gave me two. Jimie sowed the home lot by Church, barley, hay & clover. Sent Dolly & Luby to the farm, sent cows to pasture. no grass yet there is not rain
11 Began to rain about 8 A.M. A kind of drizzle. I sowed White and red carrots. And turnips. And planted about 30 hills of potatoes
12 Washed today. It was hazy all day not much rain, still it was drizzling
13 Fine day. Jimie butchered Lassie's calf. {Justerlay?}, Brown & Murdy came this evening. Brown left for home after tea. We had a call from D.D. McLen. yesterday. Birdie sowed flowers today {Pessurons?} was in ground up the river Yesterday.
14 Saturday. planted 4 1/2 bush potatoes on the sod. in village. Marion got 1 new hat Kind of mauve or drab $2.50. Got sugar gran. 25
15 Fine day. Daniel Scot is home, so is Liss McClerner. both came last week. Jimie got 1 pair booties at Willies $4.40 (not paid) on Saturday .
16 Cold wind like snow. Pa & Jimie fixing fence on village farm, in bush
17 Was sewing today. Got 11 from J.C.
18 Baked
19 Got 1 lb tea 45, 2 lbs soda 10. cream tartar 5 60
20 Cousin Jimie went to Lancaster to a dentist And got 16 teeth filled cement & platinum
21 Got raisins 25 cts sowed a few seeds raining
