	Oct. 16th 1908. fine R.P.O.	W. Batty at Harveys Thrashing I did Chores and wrote to Hon. W. Clifford, J.D. McGregor, Geo Patterson & his Manager. H. W. Watkins. Jos Rya & Chas Ries. recd $2250 from Jos Smith for apples sent $3000. to D. Douglas & Sons Mitchell Ont.
	Sat 17th fine	We picked apples Cleaned box stalls. Finished Apples I went to town drew on Geo Patterson Brandon for $601.40 and on Hon. W. Clifford for $20000. I bgt groceries.
X	Sunday 18th fine	~~Jennie Mar~~ Mary. E. Bessie & I went to Church, & baby J & M.E. to S.S. Col. Connectional funds. $500 13 c. Mary J. Jennie & M.E. & I went to Church in evening heard Rev Crews on The Model Daughter & Sister. & was very good. E.P. Keepsake had a C. Calf by Lord Val 2nd	.13 5.00
	Monday 19th fine & cool	I took 8 bgs Cider Apples to mill got 25 Gal Cider. and pd. 50c shipped Raw Lamb to Geo L. Bearas Valparaiso Ind. bgt. 2 brls of Cement, at $210 at Penfolds then went to Mill in Afternoon pd Express on McGregors hogs. 300 Rya's $135 & Mountain Ram 100 Pd for Chopping 8 bgs. 40c.	.50 5.35 .40
