All stayed to class. After tea Ernest came with horse & buggy & took Nettie & I up to Appleby Church. Got there in time to hear the closing part of sermon. Sat away up in front seat. Saw Alf. & Bumby's. Drove up to William Lucas's after Church as Er: wanted to see his cousin Melville. Deed. Alton & some others there. He played as we all sang some hymns. A lovely drive home by moon-light. The dampness straightened my feather again. |
Mon. 16th. Straw-berry picking again. Ms & I pick goose berries in afternoon. Ada Johnson & Alice Garneau here. I gave Alice her school prize which Mr. Rymal left in my care.
