March 27th (Saturday.)
Did some work for Charles. Did the work at the house. Went down to McDonald House for dinner and dined with Hallidays again. Went down town in the afternoon and then went over to Mr. H Moss's to see if he was coming to put cover on couch. He was not in, and, although I left word, he has not shown up. Got tea and washed the dishes. Duncan came up for awhile. Then Mrs. Beattie, Mrs. Davey and Miss Kirchner came in to talk over Horticultural Society with Charles. Took their notes for them.
