Current Page Transcription [edit] [history]

March 27th (Saturday.)

Did some work for Charles. Did the work at the house. Went down to McDonald House for dinner and dined with Hallidays again. Went down town in the afternoon and then went over to Mr. H Moss's to see if he was coming to put cover on couch. He was not in, and, although I left word, he has not shown up. Got tea and washed the dishes. Duncan came up for awhile. Then Mrs. Beattie, Mrs. Davey and Miss Kirchner came in to talk over Horticultural Society with Charles. Took their notes for them.

March 28th. Sunday.

Did not go to church in the morning as it was 10 o'clock before we started breakfast and I had the dishes to do. Went to S.S. Blanche was away to Hanover so I had all the work to-day. Being Review Sunday Mr. Tuer gave an address on "The Forward Movement." Had a hint of my old pain so did not go to church but took measures to try and get rid of it. Charles, being very tired did not go either. Alice sr. and Margaret went to the Baptist
