Shampooed my hair. Gathered truck together for trunks and packed part of one trunk. Marked the tennis court. Mrs. Beattie came up and I got her some boxwood, Hollym and Chinese Woolflower. Also cleared out Shumac. Went down town, at noon helped Charles put up wire on verandah for vines. Went to to some shopping after dinner. came home, got wool flowers & Shumac for Mother, did some mending. Went up to Mother's. Mr. McQueen came for tea. played seven-up. Mr. Caldwell and Wilfred Davison played tennis here after tea.

Called and entertained us with an account of his doings in the Old Land. Wrote a letter of congratulations to Armond and Copie.
