Went up to see Mother in the Morning. Resigned to have Frank go that he may not suffer longer. Funeral is to be in Chesley. Wrote quite a number of letters for Charlie after dinner. (Planted my Morning glories and butterfly flowers before dinner.) Margaret and I walked down to Mr. William Elliot's Mill via Mill Street and came home via Long Street.
