Weather - An ideal day & evening. (<u>moonlight</u>.

Doug harrowed, Norm <u>picked apples</u> A.M.  & Douglas fixed tractor in p.m. They cut <u>buckwheat</u>, <u>Mother & Laura came up</u> in the afternoon, We stayed with Kiddies Della & I went with Laura to <u>Jr Institute</u> at Dells <u>Stephensons</u>. <u>Stouffville there to.</u> I went with Hooper's down to the <u>Y.P.S Corn Roast.</u>

Weather - Lovely & cool.
Doug borrowed, mom picked apples a.m. Douglas fixed hadon in p.m. They cut huckw heat, mother & luana came up in the afternoon, lne stayed with keldus Della & I went with hooleus down to the cvn coast.

<u>men picked apples & made cider</u> in A.M. finished cutting buckwheat in p.m. & <u>picked 20 chickens</u> after 4.30. <u>produce</u>, 6 gal cider, 20 chicks 5 bus apples, 9 pts cream, 6 bus pears, 43 Dz. eggs.

Men picked apples and made cider in a.m. finished cutting luck wheat in p.m. I picked 20 chickbone, apples 430.

Boys <u>shocked buckwheat</u> & did some <u>chopping</u>, Douglas cultivated, Carl B. bought home fertilizer seeds in p.m. <u>Norm went up to Jack's</u> for the night. <u>Della attended</u> Jr <u>Farmer corn roast at Champion</u>, then went to <u>Cedar Grove</u> for over Sunday.

Weather - Mostly cloudy rained early A.M.

<u>Norm went to city with Leslie</u>, when he look a springer away. He then came and took a load of <u>baled straw</u> before dinner, this 3rd load. I made tomato soup A.M. <u>Rhea & Mary up for the afternoon</u> went <u>to choir practice with Norm & Della. Betty up to see about flowers erc. for S. Fair</u>.

Mom picked apples, Douglas took mother, della, leslie and 9 men to the school farm at unionville in pm Della stayed at jeane for tea , Leslie took the fourth load taled show almon.

We canned <u>12 qts 6 pts corn</u> in A.M. did some washing p.m. Cora came over & helped Della & I cut up 1 lb butter for <u>corn roast in  Youngs flats</u> in the <u>Y.P.S.</u> men picked apples, Douglas cultivated Mother up in for the evening while rest at corn roast. 70 their.

We canned 12 gls 6 ple cvn in a.m. did some washing pm. Coa came over and helped Della and I cut up 1 ft butter for connastin young flats in the y.p.s. men picked apples, Douglas cultivated and mother up in for the evening while at cvn coast, 10 thin.

Norm & H Allen went to Mr Rodicks to help with <u>silo filling</u> & Douglas Doug up to Joffs all home by chore time, I made more tomato soup and& I did up peaches.  Della and Norm went to choir practice at night. <u>Mrs Vanhorn funeral to-day</u>.

Norm down at <u>Rodicks & W Brooks Silo filling</u>  home for supper, tea {?} did not work well. we picked chickens in p.m. Pat & I. <u>John up in the evening also Lorne</u> here, he & <u>Della</u> went to the city.
 
 
Mom down at Rodidezof w banches silo filling, home in sulopite,in close ahead not work welol. we picked chickens in p.m. Patt g . john up in the eveningalso lovne here, he and della went to the city.

Tues Sept 13 Weather - Cloudy easterly winds, rained heavy at night. Douglas cultivated wheat ground, Doug rolled it & Norm got half the field across pond sown with wheat, Della went to city with jJohn, Mother, Leslie took 2nd load straw this A.M. Walter Craig up this evening. I went out there for 11 qt plums

Wed Sept 14 Weather - Lovely day. Doug picked pears A.M. etc., finished sowing wheat to-day. I drove down to the W.M.S. at night at church.

Thurs Sept 15 Weather - An ideal day & evening. (moonlight. Doug harrowed, Norm picked apples A.M. & Douglas fixed tractor in p.m. They cut buckwheat, Mother & Laura came up in the afternoon, We stayed with Kiddies Della & I went with Laura to Jr Institute at Dells Stephensons.
