JUNE MONDAY 22 1876
Breakfast at 8½. Thorne & wife go to Lewiston & back I take Boat & go to Toronto with them. Go to Hays & Co. & see about furniture I buy Wash Stand $975 Bureau for Ada $15.00 Stair Carpet 12 Yds. 12 yd $100, 2 Hammocks $800 4.00 Fish Tackle 65 cts Meet McArthur at T.P. & Co. they are bringing him to Settlement of some Kind. C.P. tells me, they will ose $2000 with him. I take tea at Scaddings & Gussie, Aggie George & I go to Horticultural Concert. meet Parsons & Horace Thoner get home at 10½ stay at Scaddings.
