JUNE MONDAY 22 1876

Breakfast at 8½. Thorne & wife go to Lewiston & back I take Boat & go to Toronto with them. Go to Hays & Co. & see about furniture I buy Wash Stand $975 Bureau for Ada $15.00 Stair Carpet 12 Yds. 12 yd $100, 2 Hammocks $800 4.00 Fish Tackle 65 cts Meet McArthur at T.P. & Co. they are bringing him to Settlement of some Kind. C.P. tells me, they will ose $2000 with him. I take tea at Scaddings & Gussie, Aggie George & I go to Horticultural Concert. meet Parsons & Horace Thorne get home at 10½ stay at Scaddings.

JUNE SUNDAY 23 1876

Leave at 7 on City for home, find all right at Tannery.

M Dolan goes up for balance of Hides (34) from TMcCarthy bot from Peppler & Shepherd send up 4 small Hides to J Scott to sell. 181# in all at 5 cts = $905 Have to pay 20 cts for Inspection Dolan hands me balance $885

Ada goes over on Boat to School Concert with Mrs Milloy.

W{Prager?} & Pope call about Atlas I pay him $800 & take Atlas this settles a/c Horse runs away & break buggy. I get Blake Kerr & Boyds a/c to day $108.
