| + | Go to Tannery at 8. Mother & I go to Toronto, on City. she goes up to Scaddings I go up & see Cassels re appoin. tomorrow at 3 P.M. for Mother to come & see him. I go up & stay at Scaddings tonight meet Old Jacob Bastedo there Dave Bastedo & wife call I sleep with Old Mr Bastedo | ||

| + | Ned & I go down on City at 9 Ned goes to Caledonia at 10. We meet Beu Hadden at Depot I talk to him about Dates patent Coal Tar Burner. go up to TP&Co's CP dont want to work in any Hides at present, says he cant get them. Call at Hewitts buy Trunk for C Hughs, meet Cassie & Mother at 3 P.M. go to Blakes office, wait till 4, for Cassels remain 1 hour with him. I go & see C Parsons, ride up to Scaddings with him, have tea then to to Cassels house & consult with him, then to C Parsons & remain till 10½ then go to American & stay all night. | ||
