Fri july 1 st clear and very Xh hot the thermomiter Reg 96 deg in the Shade we finished hoeing corn the {Seceund?} time

Sat jun 2 nd clear most of the day and very hot. we were wheeling away the dirt that we dug out for the cistern. and Sprinkling potatoe tops with {pavas?} green

sun jul 3 rd clear and very hot So much So that didn't go to Meeting.

{This day is noted in red pen} Mon jul 4 th cloudy Some thunder but no rain here a hot day. I was mowing out fence corners & Walter was mowing grass this fore noon, after noon we were helping john Snarey with his wheat.

Tue jul 25 th cloudy and hot. we were work-ing at the hay.
