Mon 24. Such a beautiful day but sad for we heard Ida had a Cancer. when they opened her Sat. : Mrs Read & Hattie to Wills Hattie went over to Fraser after them. at night Bertha, Fannie & the Clifton folks all went to the station. Hattie took them & spent the day to Riexingers had a good visit: their white faced mare had a colt in the night, cold wind. Arthur working in the eleven acre field. Mary up to Pets.

Teu 25 Marjorie & Hattie started over the river to see Ida but could not see her she is so low Hattie stayed to Mrs Buyers all night & Marjorie came over & stayed to Jennies. I churned for our selves Riexingers killed their sow Arthur & Will went over, they finished their field then came down here & desked {disked} a lot here

Wed 26. We shut the house up he started to sow hay too it looks like rain east wind for 3 days I ironed a lot out of the basket. Marjorie & Hattie came home Paul drove up a night with tomatoe & celery plants & 2 loaves bread @ 25 cts sugar

Thur 27. raining this morning poured at times the sun came out nice in the afternoon they are working on the field this afternoon. Marjorie went over & Phoned to Fannie about Isa mended Pauls pants

Friday 28 I churned the first thing so Marjorie could go to Chippewa to see about what train Will would take tomorrow for Toronto. Will & Arthur worked on the oats all day Everything I had was dirty. I washed Pauls clothes & Gordons shirt a cold wind had to put on a coat ever time I hung out anything
