Such a beautiful day but sad for we heard Ida had a Cancer. when they opened her Sat. : Mrs Read & Hattie to Wills Hattie went over to Fraser after them. at night Bertha, Fannie & the Clifton folks all went to the station. Hattie took them & spent the day to Riexingers had a good visit: their white faced mare had a colt in the night, cold wind. Arthur working in the eleven acre field. Mary up to Pels.

Teu 25 Marjorie & Hattie started over the river to see Ida but could not see her she is so low Hattie stayed to Mrs Buyers all night & Marjorie came over & stayed to Jennies. I churned for our selves Riexingers killed their sow Arthur & Will went over, they finished their field then came down here & desked {disked} a lot here

Wed 26. We shut the house up he started to sow hay too it looks like rain east wind for 3 days I ironed a lot out of the basket. Marjorie & Hattie came home Paul drove up a night with tomatoe & celery plants & 2 loaves bread @ 25 cts sugar

Thur 27. raining this morning poured at times the sun came out nice in the afternoon they are working on the field this afternoon. Marjorie went over & Phoned to Fannie about Isa mended Pauls pants

Friday 28 I churned the first thing so Marjorie could go to Chippewa to see about what train Will would take tomorrow for Toronto. Will & Arthur worked on the oats all day Everything I had was dirty. I washed Pauls clothes & Gordons shirt a cold wind had to put on a coat ever time I hung out anything

Sat 29. Hattie took her father & Will Dell to the station. took eggs 1 doz got a qt vinegar 8 can pumkin 10 cts I made 3 pumkin pies a ginger cake & a sponge cake. Arthur finishing up the oat ground she swept the front room & Marguerite dusted. she swept the dining room & ironed her curtain & some of her things & the childrens I ironed what I washed I tended the kitchen work

Sun 30 We expected the childrens father but he did not come. Hattie walked to the brick church. Paul came up from Gonders Arthur took him to the station at night. Riexingers girls here in the evening.

Mon 31. Arthur did some furrowing out on the oat field then ploughed the potato patch & a land for garden turns up in big lumps I fixed my flower bed by the house & planted some seeds. Marjorie took her gladiolus up for him to plough. Will came back from Toronto

Teu 1. They started on their corn ground. Paul came back from Gonders after he came Marjorie & him went to Drummondville. he bought his watch. had 3 lb butter @ 8 - 5 ct two doz. eggs @ 18. 34. - 88 butter paper 5 radish seed 3 bread 10 after they got home he made Topsy harrow the patch & got the tomatoes & cellary in. I cleared up the dining room & swept washed the churn I churned yesterday. made pan cakes for dinner

Wed. 2 he put the Petunias out & I carried 2 pails of water from the creek for them & the cellary. Marjorie went to Riexingers after pieplant & I made 2 pies befor she got home with some Paul got to the other house. I made ginger cookies Marjorie baked a big bakeing of bread the house like an oven

Thur 3. I got 14 eggs from Hattie to set a hen the only one we have Marjorie put out some onion sells in the pig pen. I planted a lot of flower seed. Hattie came over yesterday & we divided the big sweet-scented Geranium. I churned for our selves. Marjorie working on Marguerites sunbonnet & her jacket Jennie gave her Paul helped them plant corn.
