Sunday The Tug Ottawa at a Barge aground opposite the Pitt Point  David Morris's Birth Day Raining some the Indian Left the stick he was going to make Paddles of 11th shot a Duck did not Get him Pat and Thomas Munroe here Lashey came Took up 1 Bushel of Potatoes thats 7 Bushels in the cellar now cleaned my 2 Guns thrashed a Basin of Beans Raining and Blowing the Ottawa got the Barge of to Day the Brantford Salaberry Huron Emprefs and another Boat all went Down this Morning

12th Took in 3 Bushels of Potatoes caught the Little Ram and his Back Bone cut Through with the string put some mixture of eel oil and sut to his Back

13th Went to the Kit Kit Island then acrofs to Charlies Charlie came up a very very warm Day Charlie & I to Mr Harpers took 6 Dozen of eggs 3/9 Bought 3 Skains of Thread  13 Doz of Buttons -/5 1 yard of Ticking for Pockets  1/3 1 Pint of Whiskey Got some apples from John Hamilton Charlie got an axe and 1/2 lb Tea from Mr Harper Gave Charlie 6 cents to Give for the axe Got 1/6 cash from Mr Harper on the eggs

14th Started for St Regis took Mr Harper 55 lb of Oats took a Pint of Whiskey a very Windy Day stopt on Clarks Island for a spile stopt at Louis Grays and had Dinner stopt in at Moses the Indians heavy Rain Thunder Lightning went in to St Regis to Mr Powell Pat There used us well stopt at the International Hotel Kept By Edward Plomado George Morris here

15th got Breakfast  at Mr Powell Charlie Paid for the Bed Bought of Powell a Bar of Soap -/9 got a Bottle of Whiskey Charlie paid for it put in /3 came home

16th put in some Marsh Hay 5 coils Drew a Load of Wood shot a Duck took up 1 Bushel of Potatoes thats 11 Bushels in the cellar now Great Shooting to Day Lashey came to night

Mr James Cameron Island September

Mowing in the Marsh Before the Door Fixing Fish Box Board under the Canoe Water Low Heard of Semows wife Being Buried to Day for the first time, heard of it Shot a Duck shot a Hen Hawk very smokey time

3rd Sunday Dans Birth Day Lashey went to Lukes I went to Fish got 3 Pickerel 4 Perch east wind Rose very Quick

4th Finished husking the corn put a Bushel of Potatoes in the cellar Pulled the Onions summer savoury and the Beet seed Drew some Wood made a good coil of hay on the Lower Point Put the husks of the corn in the North east side of the Barn Lashey came had a Trace of corn and some Loose a Fine vessel went Down in tow with the America took in some Apples

5th John Angus's Birth Day Mowing a Little took in the onions 1/2 bushel 3 Traces of Corn and 2 Bushels of Loose corn in the col Raining some and much wanted Took in 1/2 bushel of Potatoes cut My Pants

6th Mowing the Back Marsh Took up out of the Garden 1 1/2 of Potatoes Thats 3 Bushels in the cellar now a Great Lot of Cattle crofsing on the Bouquet a cow Jumped in the Water and swam to Hamiltons Island smokey Time with Fires

7th put in 1 Bushel of Potatoes in the cellar put 8 coils of marsh hay in the Barn from the front Marsh and 18 in from the Back Marsh Lashey to Lancaster with his Fish east Wind Great smoke

8th a Fortunate Day pulled the Beans and put them in the Barn took up the pumkins put 3 coils of Good hay on the stable Loft took 2 cart loads old Wood home Lashey a New sail a Fine 3 Masted vessel went Down in Tow of the America

9th Took 2 Bushels of Potatoes in to Day Thrashing & Fanning some of the Beans near a Good 1/2 Bushel Raining east Wind & West south East again cleaned out the stable Wellington went up Found a Tin Dish Found an old halter Loast this 3 or 4 years
