| Friday 31st fine | Willie Beattie raised drills for Rape & helped finish our line fence near Hastings Peter Ballantine worked at fence all day. Jimmie Stewart painted part of the house. ridgeboards to window frames Ect. | ||
| Saturday 1st July 1905 Dull & wet | Peter & I worked at fence till about 3 P.M. and then we ground mower knives and Peter cleaned ram pen and scaffold. Jimmie painting all day Tom came today and has hired Jimmie for two months for $4500 | ||
| Sunday 2nd fine | Father Aunt Jane and I went to Church in morning. Children to S.S. And Mary & Bessie Marguerite & I went to Tom's for a drive | ||
| Monday 3rd fine | I scuffled 3 acres Turnips & Cut about 2 1/2 acres Clover in morning went to F.W. Broadfoot's funeral in Afternoon. bgt handles at Penfolds 40c gro .05 | .40 | |
| Tuesday 4th fair | Father, Peter & Willie Hoed turnips all day. Jimmie S. painted at house and I went to mill in morning pd for Chopping 95c bgt 610 lbs barley Chop at 120 = $7.32 N.P. got hardware at Penfolds 4.30 arranged for horse at Cartege Co I bgt 3 gal Treacle at Jacksons and arranged for barrell at 30c per gal. |
