16. Very fine day. To beef pork & Mutton 83
17. Fine day a large congregation. Mrs Gordon Smith of Lancaster was buried this Afternoon.
18 Far went to Caledonia Springs All our young folk went for berries. got 18 qrts. Rev Mr Given & wife And Mrs Tate spent the evening here.
19. Hot day. To 1 lb tea 30. sugar 25. To 100 sugar canned the berries. Mercury over 90 1.55
20. Washed very hot 95. Mrs Burton & Minnie Cameron spent part of the day, here, on their way to the Island
21. A shower in the morning. fly poison 5 Pa. paid 100 subscription to Glengarrian Yesterday 5
22. Fine day. very hot.
23. Hot fay. 5 lb pork 50. beef 40. mutton 14 tick 1.4
24 Large congregation REv. A McGillivary preach in morning. Rev. W Dunnett in evening
25 Hot. toward evening had wind & rain
26. Hot. Paid McKewin 1.00 for Saturdays beef, And am owing 30. for ballance on todays beef

28. Jimie went to R. T's {Royal Templars} meeting at Lancaster with Lizzie and Marion.

I bought a history of the Klondike from a Mrs Ferguson paid 1.50, by A. C. Harris August 1898
