Tues 13 Rain today I had a bilious turn at 9.30 A.M. I am feeling better 4 P.M.

Wed 14 2 loaves 21, 1 gal coal oil 25. Dull weather. I filled the pickle crocks, roses

Thurs 15 Very fine cool day. Tranquar & Allan came in evening. They remained a couple of hours

Fri 16 Another fine day looks like autumn. Paid Ginnie $2.00 for the ground rent we used to pay Mrs. Hennan. I think I will now have to pay it to St. Robertson who has bought the Hennan property

Sat 17 Milk 50, coal oil 25, bread 21

Sun 18 Gen fund 25. Miss Hale & McLennan, Alex Brook called after preaching the word well

Mon 19 We are having fine weather lately, murky. Went to Cornwall in forenoon. Ginnie went in afternoon

Tues 20 Very fine day. Anne is here cleaning the oilcloth. I am going to varnish the floors of hall and dining rooms. Anne 50¢, bread 21

Wed 21 I went over the oilcloth in hall had to renew it with thick wax and sand

Thurs 22 Ginnie went to a social at Lancaster Township. Anne stayed. Mr Freeman the si came here to go to Cornwall with Ginnie and I

Fri 23 10 A.M. left back from Cornwall. Anne went to Annis at 9 A.M. we left at 10 A.M. Went to front road. Annie went to Flannigans, we went to Tranquair, he came home by Lancaster, left Annie at her home

Sun 25 Memorial service for Livingston Dunlop, who was drowned when the Hospital ship was torpedoed two days from Halifax. There were 12 nurses on the ship. William Robertson, Jim Read and Roderick McLennan, Alex Roy’s sons, called, remained to tea
