Tuesday. Aug. 18th 1908. I stayed in house all day nursing my foot and Men worked at stumping and plowing Ect.
Wensday Aug. 19th wet Men stumped & chored they finished stumps. I stayed in All day. Geo Henderson Called I pd him 400 on pasture of Cattle I recd $27350 from {Dom Est?} Calgary. $27350 4.00
5 lds Thursday 20th fine I went to see Dr. and he lanced my foot, and says it is doing all right I shipped a ram to E.P. Palmer Elwood Ill. and then went for Mail. Men Hauled in bal of oats of No 6 Y
6 lbs W. Battys Ac. Friday 21st fine We finished harvest today hauled 6 lds oats. I wrote some letters and went to Town in Afternoon pd Goldies Ac. $2920 pd. for letter Files for Sheep Suffolk society $1.10 Looked over W. Batty's ac. and Find we have paid him $9126 29.20 1.10
W. Batty $2000 Saturday 22nd fine Your text here...Will Plowed Boys & I Chored in Morning and Harry Gathered burs & W.B. Plowed in Afternoon. I paid W.Barty . $2000 on account 20.00
Sunday 23rd fine M.J. & I went to Church in Morning Children to S.S. col. 50c 02 .02 .50
