Thursday 23rd I left Saugeen for Hamilton to get the money, sent by our friends in England. I left Robert to keep day book. Fine and blowing all the day. finished roofing the on shed, Ground corn. Bedeck the ?. Snow almost all gone.

Friday 24th Raining all day. Crosssurveyor the path. and chopped a little fine wood.
