Friday Feb. 11th.
Beautiful day. Spent an hour and a half trying to get the tacks out of a chair which was to go to High Grade Factory to be repolished. Then spent until 2.30 typing letters I had taken in the office yesterday. Went up to see Mother and to take a fountain pen up for a birthday present for Frances. Then got a couple of letters at the office and called at Mrs. Ferguson's to ask her to go to concert with me. Typed the letters after I got home and called at eight o'clock at the Public Library for Mrs. Ferguson. (Charles not yet going out at night.) Concert was very good indeed. "Musical Revue & Operetta "Gypsy Maid." Classical dancers, good quartette and good elocutionist. Scene from "Mikado" very well done and Souvenir Dance (Green fairy danced on tip toes.)
