sprinkled a little. Went down to the post office with Dorothy after dinner and to Jackson's (Photographer) to get her B.A. degree framed. Her Westbourne Certificate & Doug N's photo and also Dean Cappin's. Half holiday so Charles spent the afternoon outside and about 5 o'clock he went to see Mr. Cassels, who is ill, and I went to take Forward's Movement Report to Miss Annie Milne, who was greatly interested in it, and they asked me in to see her. She was quite bright. Duncan came up in the evening and Dorothy spent the evening looking over and reading her old letters.

Friday July 9th.

Fine day. Cloudy in the Morning - a few drops of rain - {then?} warm. Went to Mrs. Caldwell's in the morning, Did some weeding. Knit a great many rows on Dorothy's orange sweater. She and Duncan played tennis. Went down town and called to enquire for Miss Milne. Played 2 sets of tennis with Duncan. After tea
