S. 29th. Fred one meal. Clearing land for Phil.

S. 30th. Fred two meals.

July M. 1st. Fred 1 Meal. Clearing land for Phil.

T. 2nd. Sold James Davidson my spade for One Dolr. & Lent him 221/2 of Flour. Burning log fields for Phil.

W. 3rd. Turned my old oxen on the Indian side of the river.

Th. 4th. James Davidson & me made a bargain that he should serve me for one year for the sum of One hundred and thirty two Dolrs. he is to have his washing Clothes & Shoe leather and ten dolrs. in Cash during that time and for the balance he will take my Note due Sixteen months after date at six per. Cent. Interest. In case we disagree and part before the end of the year he is to receive Thirteen Dolrs. per Month for each Summer Month and
