26th Fine Froze some Last night Found 1 of the Hammers Finished Ploughing the Potato Ground a Good Lot of shooting to Day Boiling Feed for the Pigs Burning Brush at the Ditch

27th Unfortunate Day E Wind Mr Genie came Gordon crofsed to church Windy to night West wind Heard Locklin Cattonach was Buried yesterday
