I churned & worked the butter. Paul did not get much done on the drain George brought the mail.

Thur 3. pretty cold yet but the wind gone down quite a bit sun shining in tghe morning but after dinner got cloudy & snowed a little. one of the yellow pullets laid. I fixed the back pig pen for the turkeys & carried a lot of straw. Arthur to Riexingers buchering Marjorie went to Georges with Mrs Buyers telescope Paul on the drain all day we had to do the chores & separate the milk

Friday 4 started to snow almost rain Marjorie baking bread. I washed the separater, then went to the creek after water & Paul went too. The wind blowing strong from the west & snowing. I churned after dinner. Paul went to Chippewa took 3 lbs & 2 of butter @ 26 - 81 sugar 25 salt 5 salts 5 B quining 25 & 15 ct due bill & he never got back. The wind gone down & a little warmer.

Sat. 5 quite a little snow & rather disagreably in the morning but the sun struck out for awhile then got cloudy again Arthur & his father on the drain all day Paul mending his shoes aftter he went after the bran to Riexingers Lue brought the barrel home, & a dish of livercheese. Marjorie down sweeping the schoolhouse & dusting gets real cold at night George brought our mail but no {Spee?} came. I made 5 pumkin pies & swept & cleaned the floor. Marjorie cleaned up her room

Sun 6 Marjorie & the children Marguerite went to church Paul did not go nor Gordon either Kate & Mary here to tea, Fannie went too & she came over in the evening bright moonlight & cold the ministry went to Mrs Martin Dells. rained towards morning but did not take the snow away.
